I'm a freshman engineering student at the University of Miami. I came here because I wanted a more personal undergraduate experience than that typically offered by the engineering departments of larger research universities. Here, I have found a solid mix of personal attention, small class size, hi-tech learning, and research opportunities - oh, and of course my suntan has concurrently improved.
Though an engineer I can honestly say that most of my interests have nothing to do with math or science. I’m in to fashion, street art, hardcore music, cynicism, literature, tea, Cuban food, as well as writing and exploring. When I’m not doing ENGINEERING WORK, I’m usually outside playing soccer or talking with my friends.
I’ve set up this blog to give you an insider’s perspective of life at the University of Miami, so if you have any questions or comments about my posts or UM in general please don’t hesitate to ask via comment, message, or email.
